I just realized the original “about me” page was actually about the blog. To make up for that, here are a few interesting things about me. Or maybe they’re not interesting, but it might help form the frame of reference from which I’m writing.

- Location: Greater Boston, MA
- Age: Mid-twenties (I figure I won’t have to update it for the next few years, ha!)
- Education: College graduate, Bachelor of Science in a ridiculously long major, so let’s just call it marketing communication for clarity’s sake
- Occupation: Marketing and Customer Service Specialist at a tree-oriented environmental company
- Relationship status: Married to my fire fighter-marathoner-generally awesome husband Dan
- Family: mom and dad, split, and 3-years-younger brother
- Hobbies: Reading, running, baking/cooking, skiing, brewing my own beer, crocheting, listening to music, yoga, surprising people with unexpected facts about me
- Favorite music: Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, The Postal Service, The Killers, Death Cab for Cutie, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, O.A.R., Tchikovsky (the ballets), just about everything that was on WFNX, including the DJs
- Favorite movies: James Bonds, The Bourne Trilogy, just about anything with Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler, Batman movies, anything not considered a chick flick. I HATE chick flicks.
- Fun fact: I have two tattoos and am planning my third and fourth. Most people find this to be an astonishing fact, considering I generally look like I just walked out of a Gap ad. In fact, my whole family has at least two tattoos each. My tattoos make me feel slightly badass, even though they’re really quite innocent. The third will definitely be classified as badass, though, just you wait.
- Fun fact #2: A few years ago, I was in a bank while it was being robbed. It was no way near as cool as it is in the movies, though. And there was no Ben Affleck.
